Are you hungry? We’re not.
Thanks to Dan Templeton, the group today enjoyed some Casa’s spinach lasagna and their signature Casa salad. As Homer Simpson would say, “Mmmmmmmmmmm, Caaaaassaaaaaaa’s.”
The next meeting of the Fort Wayne Inventors Club will be:
No admission or dues are required. Metered parking on the street is free on Saturdays and also free (if you have a library card) in the underground parking garage beneath the library (enter on Wayne Street).
Come and join us!
The next meeting of the Fort Wayne Inventor’s Club will be Saturday August 11 at 2 PM at the Allen County Public Library downtown (on Ewing St. between Washington and Wayne), in meeting room B.
No admission or dues are required. Metered parking on the street is free on Saturdays and also free (if you have a library card) in the underground parking garage beneath the library (enter on Wayne Street).
Our fearless leader, Dave, won’t be there – so feel free to take charge yourself. You may have to bring something to snack on – or stop at the Dunkin Donuts in the lobby. Do me a favor and take some photos I can post here.
Have fun!
So, the Fort Wayne Inventors Club has settled in at our new meeting location, the Allen County Public Library. Outside of location, little has changed.
We still eat pizza (thank you Pizza Hut East State).
We still attract a diverse crowd to discuss some incredible new inventions.
Maybe we’ll see you next month – we do have plenty of room!
We are moving to a new meeting time and location starting in July 2012.
We will be meeting at the Allen County Public Library.
The address is 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. It is located in the block bounded by Washington Blvd., Wayne, Webster, and Ewing (marked with the “A” on the map). There is parking under the Library (enter off of Wayne) that is free if you have an ACPL library card. If you park in a Library facility or lot, remember to get your parking ticket validated (ask a library attendant how) before you leave. All of the parking meters downtown are free on weekends and after 5:00 on weekdays.
In July we will be in meeting room A. In August, meeting room B. In September, back to meeting room A.
The meeting time has also changed – we will meet from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
What hasn’t changed is that we are open to all inventors (newbies and pros alike), free of charge, and a heck of a lot of fun!
